What I want

I went for an interview last week. While filling the form there was one question that I left blank "reason for leaving", I did not know what to write. When I was called to be interviewed, one of the interviewer asked me the same question again.

Interviewer (1) : What is your reason for leaving your current organization?
Me                  : When I  joined my current organization, I set a goal for me to achieve in two years time. My
goal was and still is to hold a management and administrative post after two years. Now it
has been two years and I am still at the beginning.
Interviewer (2) : (Looking at me) So, in simpler term, the reason for you to leave your organization is
because you are not getting what you want.
Me                  : (Without hesitation) Yes, I am leaving because I am not getting what I want.

The interview continued for another 30 minutes. I am not regretting my response for the question, and I don't know if my response will cause me the opportunity to venture out. But finally now I know what to write if the question popped out again. "I am leaving because I am not getting what I want".

Nothing wrong with honesty. My friend went for an interview for the Perdana Scholarship. When asked whether she will stay abroad and not come home, she said yes because of the opportunity and research funding there.

She got the scholarship.
