Since I was in school my style of writing attracted a lot of attention as well caused me few problems here and there. For me its normal, but for other, they tend to gawk and made me feel like a freak show at times. I need to turn my book upside down everytime I write, I have problem in doing drawings in my engineering drawing class, and I have to buy a special pen just for calligraphy. My ex lecturer during my matriculation years once actually stopped and stared at me writing, and she actually said, "Cacat ke?" In which made the whole class laughed. And that was the last time being left handed actually bruised my self esteem. After that, I tend to ignore any curious eyes and any annoying questions.
But tonight, I sat next to a stranger in my class, she glimpsed from the corner of her eyes when I started to write, and actually said "No one corrected you before ke, when you were young?", I said excuse me, she said "Yelah, when you were young no one corrected the way you write? Owh well, it's owkey, you turn out just fine".
I looked at her with a puzzled expression on my face, is it that bad being left handed?

I was surprised when she said, I wasn't corrected when I was young, I never knew that being left handed was a mistake.
Normally people would be just weird out with the way I write.
I guess I don't think of left-handedness as weird because I have a lot of friends who are lefties. I watch them write and do things and I marvel because it always look more elegant than when I do things.

Personally, I feel 'jealous' those who is left-handed. Because to me, they are smart ppl. B'coz when u're using left hand, u're using more of ur right brain which is 'barely' being use by others.

Yeah Naz, these people are so retarded themselves, so dont worry about it. Who doesn't know that people are naturally right or left handed, and it's normal - and certainly NOT something that needs to be corrected? WHo doesn't know that so many of the geniuses in the world are lefties? Ntah apa apa. just ignore their ignorance.

Being left handed is not a mistake, I used to have certain issues, coz the way I write and things I need to fit in in class, then I kinda, whatever, my hand, I do what I like with it.. :)
