Look can be deceiving.

Something happen yesterday, in which remind me of an incident when I was young, I think around 11. I accompanied my mum to the grocery store, she wanted to buy groceries for the house. I waited patiently outside for her to finish her shopping , at the same time I was eyeing an ice cream storage with the hope that my mum would see and she might understand my hint. While I was busy imagining what ice cream to get, an old lady suddenly asked me a question, I looked at her with a blur expression, she repeated it and all I can do was shook my head and said "tak paham, tak paham". I guess she got the idea and asked someone else.

Yesterday incident was almost similar to what I had experienced, I was at the gas station, and all the sudden someone struck a conversation with me (I guess people were just being friendly), and the things he asked was:

Guy :  How was your Deepavali celebration?
Me  : Thank you for asking, but I don't celebrate Deepavali.
Guy : Owh, you are not an Indian then.
Me  : No, I am a Malay.

That time and then I remembered the old lady who spoke Tamil to me at the grocery store. Look can be deceiving, but I love my complexion, despite most of the questions that were asked to me "Mamak ke?", "Orang penang ke?".

I think I rock this look!!! hehehehehe (poyo tak.. XD)

Heh. I used to get lab suppliers who come to see me and speak Cantonese/Mandarin to me. When I told them I don't understand, they thought I was from English ed. background.

Or some who thought I am a Sabahan/Sarawakian. No wonder when I went to Kuching guys flirt with me. Hehehe. I think you're right. We must go to KK. Let's see if Sabah guys flirt with me or not.
