Stupidity

A friend once said "If I was going to die, let it be not because of other people's stupidity"

Today I lost my uncle. He passed away due to an accident. Most of his bones on the right side of his body, and both of his leg were broken, and he also sustained serious head injury. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The accident happened at 6.00 a.m. he was on his way to work, 15 minutes after the accident, his son, his daughter and his grandson passed by the scene of the accident however they did not stop. The thought of the motionless body laying on the pavement was someone they knew did not cross their mind during that time, it changed when their mother made the call to inform them, and they were swept with feeling of regrets. 

The driver of the car fled the scene by flagging down a taxi, however police have identified him and currently pursuing towards his capture. Often when I pass an accident never I thought it would be someone I knew, I would feel saddened of the lost but it may only have a minor impact. However what happened today made me realize and I hope that all those read my blog will pass this message on. 

Never take lightly the rules and regulation being on the road, and I admit I also do things that should not be done. Just as reminder for all and for myself

• Never drink and drive.
• Never text while driving
• Always use handsfree devices
• Signal when changing lane and turning
• Maintain a safe distant between vehicle 
• Stop at a junction

My uncle died because someone drink and drive and did not stop at the junction. Together lets prevent us from being the fool that are too stupid to follow the rules. Be safe.
