The picture was taken at home, right? How unusual! Most photographs of that era was either done in studios or outdoors.
I love the sepia tone and the smile on most of the faces. It is one of the most casual photograph of that era that I have seen. Usually the subjects are posed unnaturally rigid with stiff smiles (if they smiled).
