I am not insensitive I am just being patience.
I said this sentence so many times, to a lot of people, in a lot of situations and for various reasons. Most of it so that they know they are about to push my patience to the limit. I prefer not to orally express my anger aggressively towards an individual, I would structure my sentence so that people would think twice to say things that they may regret saying. I guess the older I get the more I am prone not to act according to rage but more on being rational about it. Most people I encounter deal with their anger issue differently, such as taking up sports, find peace in religious activities, having the comfort of their love ones, and there are those who prefer physically abusing themselves, and others, which is a serious issue to be dealt with.
Every time that you feel like your are going to explode, take a step back, close your eyes, take a deep breath, count to 10, exhale and open your eyes. Then think again, is it worth it to lose your anger?

i have outburst issues, inherited as well as learned from mum :p
quick to anger, quick to cool down. the downside is so many things said/done that are irreparable.
the 'close eyes, take a deep breath, count to 10' thing has not worked well for me. need to find some other way :(
*hugs*
yeah, it may work for some people, I guess u need to look for things that calm u down. I had my fair share of not controlling my outburst, and it wasn't pretty. Now I try my best to avoid any conflicts.
I took up taekwando once, coz it is all about control. It was a big help back then.
Hmmm ... as a child I had no brakes, verbally at least. I learnt to wield sarcasm early in life, just ask my sister. I made a point to be proud of how good I am at wounding people with words.
It's a good thing that I grew up enough to realise that I don't need to keep broadcasting my insecurities. They are my own and the business of no one else's.
I like that last statement... "They are my own and the business of no one else's. (",)
