To me, the gist of the song is that many women are attracted to "bad boys" who are emotionally damaged. Dating emotionally damaged people are fraught with perils; emotional ones. As long as they don't realise they've got a problem, they'll continue repeating their patterns and break your heart etc etc.
As much as I love Dean Winchester, I know that that is one damaged fella who is bloody high maintenance. Never get into a relationship with someone like that unless you are willing to make sacrifices; cos until they fix themselves, all the sugar will turn to shit damn soon.

The boots rock! Kinda like her image, she is also an artist who is not concerned about her flaws, and I love Adele too.
As for emotionally damaged individual, they won't know the best thing is in front of them even though it bites them in the ass... :p
