Nothing spice up an office environment like gossip and mostly gossips are associated to women. That is the downfall having too many women in one place and they have a high tendency to get into a corner and just gossip away (not all women, some). My previous employment, they don't allow a pantry as well as sofa to be within the perimeter for the reason that it will only promote laziness. In my current, I have a kitchen, but still the gossip doesn't start there, it will start at a friend's desk, first only two person, then it will grow. Then the gossip mongers will be more creative by using s.m.s. poking here and there to get points to gossip about. I posted on facebook my status, "if you have time to gossip that means you don't have any work to do" in which I believe I should make it into a poster and paste in front of my door. But by doing so, I will only invite hostility among my fellow colleagues or maybe I am going to be one they will be gossiping about.
For someone, any gossip would be a good thing, but I am not Kim Kardashian, I love my peace and quiet, and honestly I don't mind not having colleagues especially those that gossips. I have my own loads of sins to bear I don't plan to add more. (",)

Heh. I am guilty. Sometimes when we need to vent we'd hang out in each other's rooms and vent about students/staff/contractors/vendors that drive us crazy.

If it is not being done often owkey lah, but doing it on regular basis about the same person, bosan babe.. Hehehe
i kinda menyampah when ppl talk abt things dat hv nothin to do w her, like dat girl is having an affair with dat man, so what? but, kinda owkey if like sue said, vent out abt ppl who drive us crazy.
