Today I removed a remain of a cat in the middle of the road that was severed into half. I managed to attract attention from people that were enjoying their food from some of the hawker stalls across the street. I glimpsed and I saw fingers pointing towards me. Ignoring all those attention I scraped the remain and put it in a box. I made my way to my car and followed my friend to her house. She gave me a shovel and I dug a hole deep enough to bury the cat.
For those who may wonder why I did what I did, is because how much my friend loved her cat that she took into her care when it was young. She waited until I finished my class around 4.00 p.m., came into my room at my office, paced back and forth until she burst into tears and she told me that she saw her cat severed into half in the middle of the road and she identified it by the collar that it was wearing. Burying the cat was the only closure that I can offer her instead of her thinking about the remain being run over and over again by incoming cars. Unnecessary stress for a soon to be mother.

That was a great and kind thing you did, I hope I have more friends like you. The first and the last time I buried a dead cat,on my own was the year 2010. Right next to my dorm building.
I took it in with me (she was already sick and I have taken it to the vet) and then it died three days later, my roomates hated me for it.
But I have never picked up a dead cat off the street and buried it like you did...
Well, that is the second time I did that. I have very compassionate friends however they don't have the stomach to see the aftermath of a roadkill. The least I can for them is to put their mind at ease.
