Abuse in any forms verbal, emotional, sexual and physical are ways to demean and degrade oneself to the point of nothingness. There is no such thing that all those abuses are a sign of love. There is not much that can be done if the person that is being abused keep on providing justifications on the action of the abuser. No one deserve to be treated as such.

Cool / not cool?
Even in an S/M relationship, there are safe words and limits. Not to mention that it has to be mutually agreeable.
=P
They choose not to listen and turn a blind eye, because they said it will just be a one time thing, the first time was an accident. They really need to realize hitting doesn't equal love.
I gain a relative understanding about people who stay in an abusive relationship from The Cardigan's song And Then You Kissed Me.
And learn about the safe, sane and consensual relationship from an S/M website, hahahah!
