The forgotten tradition

Last night I went out with "bee" just for a late night snack, instead of eating there, we decided to pack and look for another place to enjoy our meal. We chose the Youth Center not far from "bee's" favorite petrol station. When we arrived there, there was a festivity going on, a "Gasing Pangkah" competition. We found a spot and we ate our food then off we went to watch the competition. I remembered when I used to play "gasing" or "top" but not like what they were playing, it was fun looking at people cheering at their respective team me included. For me it was a beautiful scene admiring the movement of the players as if they were performing the silat every time they aimed their "Gasing pangkah" at the competing team. I was not that familiar with the rules of the game so I was learning just by observing. What I observed at the same time was, all the spectators were elderly almost at the age of my father and my mother, none were even younger than me. It made me wonder, "Do our current generations know about this beautiful game?" or "Will  it be just another forgotten tradition?"
