I never had a best friend when I was growing up, I found it hard to get emotionally attached to someone when you know that you will be moving out at anytime. It reflects through my attitude when making friends. I have close friends, but they are not my best friends. Then I found someone who shared most of what I like, so we became best friend. However, friendship doesn't have any value when a man is involved. And I got dumped. It seems like there is no place for me in the picture if boyfriends or girlfriends don't like me.
So I hung a sign "Only serious business, not a pit stop".

I decided that I won't have one best friend. I will have MANY BEST FRIENDS.
One to enjoy wayang with, one to enjoy joget with, one to talk books with, one to tenok citer tv with and so on and so forth. This way, I have a best friend for ALL the activities I enjoy.
No one person can completely fulfill you, not even a spouse.
Does that make me a friend whore?

Hehehehe, I should practice that. Friend whore..hmm... maybe lah, kidding. Nah, it means that u r a good chemist, you fit them according to your DNA. :p
