"Dush""Pow""Thud"

This time I am a bit slow in updating my blog, not that there are no stories, there are a lot. However I am not telling or I am choosing only those I can share openly. And mostly there are people who will get offended with what I write, hehehe, a bit constricted right?

Had a discussion with "bee" last night, she said that sometimes I let myself being bullied to do what people want me to do, I just let people push me without fighting back, "bee" said I should at least defend myself from being a pushover. A friend used to call me a "doormat" during my matriculation years, and what did I do back in return, NOTHING. I did nothing, just smile and we are still friends. However before the "doormat" statement, I almost punched a friend in the face when I lost my temper, I purposely missed her face and punched the door.

A little bird told me learn to say "NO" and stop taking "CRAPS" people are throwing at me. I know that all I do back is just be forthright whenever they address me on anything and just smile back innocently.

I have amazing friends and "bee" as well that advice me a lot, and I am grateful that they are taking time to listen to me venting out at times, even though I know they have better things to do and perhaps they do feel like slapping me and screaming out "Wake up woman!!!!

But like Sun Tzu said "Can you imagine what I would do if I could do all I can?" &; "The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting"

Definition : pushover - one that easily defeated and taken advantage off
: doormat - one who submit meekly to domination and mistreatment of others.

For all that we say that you should learn to say "NO!" etc, I must admit there is a great deal of strength in patience and forbearance as well.

No single size fits all. Ya gotta do what feels right for that situation at that point in time. That's all.
