I just found out from a friend that she was dumped by her boyfriend on the 28th December 2012. The reason was because the guy said that my friend prioritizes on her PHD more than him, because lack of attention he dumped her. Then after 2 days, the guy wanted to get back together again, and she said no, maybe because this wasn't the first break up. Until today, the guy has been harassing her, calling her at all hours, going to her place, to an extend she went back to her hometown few days ago. All these issues are affecting her study and she started to lose focus. I am not good at counseling people, so I just listen and at the end of the conversation I said to her "You can do it. I know it sounds cheesy but I am an avid supporter of living my life no matter what". I do sympathize with her having to run or hide just to fend off the harassment and I just don't get it how easy it is for some people to break a person's heart and expect it to be all patch up, just by saying "I love you, let's be together again".

hi naz! just to share my opinion for your friend. I've been harrased by an ex bf years ago. What I did was changing my cell, block all connection with him (email, phone, etc) and tell all of my friends to ignore him. He kept on coming to me and I just IGNORE everything he did. And now I'm totally free from him. But your friend has to be very2 strong to avoid him and have to show no feeling at all towards him. Men are moron!
Hey N, thanks for sharing. She is doing her best right now, so I hope things will go well for her. My ex bf, did the same, however he didn't have the ball to storm my workplace or home, thank God.
The thing is, that guy dumped her, it is not the other way around....I guess you are right, Men are *****!
