Rojak

It is a delicacy here in Malaysia, as I like to view it as Malaysian Salad. Well, I am not going to talk about the food,I am talking about Amir Muhammad's book entitle ROJAK- Bite Sized Story. The book that kept me company this weekend. It's a compilation of short stories from different walks of life and perspectives. Some of the short stories even made me smile and laugh as well as intrigue. For those who wants something that is light not too heavy on the side, but can fulfil your hunger in reading, ROJAK would be an interesting choice. I may not consider it as superb nor it is mediocre, it may not be anyone's acquired taste, but it can be someone's favorite. Some of the stories may even remind us of the stories we heard when we were young such as "Dorm Horror Story" and " Mosque slippers". You will laugh hard at some of the stories too.

I am all for Malaysian writers and Amir Muhammad is my favorite as for international writer I prefer Edgar Allen Poe, poems would be from Robert Frosts.
