It is solely my point if view.

Feeling so lazy tonight to finish my job of reading and rewriting thesis, so I decided to watch Law and Order:  SVU season 5. The episode was about a father's bigotry towards homosexuality in which he is a professor that believe gay is a disease that can be cure, and the irony was the son is gay. Secretly knowing that the son is gay the father reeducates him by accommodating his own theory and belief of how he views homosexuality. Being imposed of the idea how repulsing having a man as a better half the son suffered emotional abuse and blaming himself off all the feeling that he has towards a man and even hold to the idea of dying is better than telling.

It is not helpful to judge a person based on their sexuality, it will only push them further. Being considerate and understanding are better options. Everyone can memorize religious or biblical words but it doesn't mean that he /she is righteous. Parroting without understanding the true meaning is the core basis of ignorant.

Cabot : You have children, would you know that they are gay.
Stabler : How should I know, I don't ask.
Benson : Normally parents would know if their children are gay. They can tell.
(not the exact dialog)

Believe me, parents can tell.

Parents can tell? Really?

*rubs chin thoughtfully*

Then how come my friend's parents went thermonuclear when he came out of the closet? Unless they've been lying to themselves and has suspected all these while ...

I guess they were in denial of their own suspicions.
I was taken by surprise when my mum actually ask.
